The Sakura Tokyo is a large Japanese restaurant on 640 Park Avenue. Good food. It's always bustling with people, especially on weekends, so making reservations is a good idea. If going for the first time, the Tepanyaki Table, which is essentially a bar-style grill where food is cooked in front of you and served immediately, must be tried. It's a 4 course meal with additional goodies here and there, for as low as $15, depending on what you get for your main course. Do not be intimidated by the chef's attempts to throw various edibles at you. Consider yourself ninja if you catch a cucumber in your mouth on your first try. Expect surprises.
