A Course Category is assigned to all undergraduate courses at WPI.
Category I[]
Category I courses are offered once during the academic year.
Category II[]
Category II courses are offered once every two years. They generally appear in the course catalog with a note similar to: "This course will be offered in 2005-2006 and in alternating years thereafter."
