Chartwells is WPI's contracted food service provider. This includes daily meals for students and university faculty/staff as well as catering for small meetings and large events. Chartwells goal as a company nationally is to provide exceptional and creative food service on the K-12 and post-secondary level.
Chartwells currently manages all of the dining areas on campus. including

Joseph Kraskouskas is the Resident District Manager of Chartwells Dining Services- in other words, the man in charge.
The Chartwells company bought DAKA and took over their responsiblities, renovating the cafteria and now calling it the POD.
Chartwells caters to the needs of groups internal and external to WPI for meetings, events, functions, and receptions held on campus.
Chartwells is a division of Compass Group USA, and globally Compass Group PLC, which manages several brands such as: Wolfgang Puck and Au Bon Pain. Chartwell's top competitors include: ARAMARK and HMSHost Corporation. Contrary to popular belief, Chartwells and Compass Group USA has little to do with the Burger King Corporation and even less to do with Dunkin Donuts.
